Chromebook Support, Attendance Reporting & Office Hours During School Closure

Dear PPHS Students and Guardians, as you know the school is closed at this time.

Chromebook Support

If a student is experiencing any Chromebook issues, please email portperryhs@ddsb.ca. A technology swap will occur during our reduced office hours once the following occur:

  1. you advise us of the specific issue being experienced on the Chromebook (e.g. key pad doesn't work, computer opens random screens)
  2. you receive confirmation from us that a device is available; and
  3. you are provided with a date and time for pick-up.

TO DO:  Please sanitize and pre-label the device being returned with the students first and last name.

Chromebook chargers can be purchased through School Cash Online. Please email the receipt to portperryhs@ddsb.ca. The office will confirm when it is available for pick up.

Attendance Reporting

Families are asked to report absences as follows:

While we are monitoring phone messages left on the PPHS voicemail, you are encouraged to email us (portperryhs@ddsb.ca) with any absence concerns so we can pass them along to the applicable teacher.

Office Hours

The office is working on reduced hours during the school shut down. The hours are 9 AM to 2 PM.
