Chromebook Support, Attendance Reporting & Office Hours

Dear PPHS Students and Guardians, 

Chromebook Support

If a student is experiencing any Chromebook issues (e.g. key pad doesn't work, computer opens random screens, locked out), please email portperryhs@ddsb.ca or stop by the office. A technology swap will occur at the PPHS office.  A Computer Technician will be at the School on Tuesdays and Thursdays to address issues on site. Office staff will assist students on days when the Technician is unavailable.

Chromebook chargers can be purchased through School Cash Online. Please email the receipt to portperryhs@ddsb.ca. The office will confirm when it is available for pick up.

Attendance Reporting

Families are asked to report absences/ early sign outs/ late arrivals as follows:

• Calling 1-844-350-2646
• Online at attendance.ddsb.ca or on your smartphone through the SchoolMessenger app
• See instructions on how to install the app
• Extended Absences (anything over 5 days) students/parents are required to fill out an extended absence form and submit to the office 1 week before departure. Extended Absence Form 

You are encouraged to email us (portperryhs@ddsb.ca) with any absence concerns so we can pass them along to the applicable teacher.
