School Community Council – Invitation to First Meeting
The School Community Council (SCC) supports student achievement and well-being through an advisory role with the school principal. SCC also supports parent engagement and communication between home and school. More information can be found at https://www.ddsb.ca/en/family-and-community-support/school-community-councils.aspx.
We welcome your involvement in our SCC. If you are interested in serving on the SCC please complete the attached nomination form. Nomination forms can be submitted by parents/guardians prior to the election by email at PortPerryHS@ddsb.ca or at the time of the election.
During the pandemic, our SCC meetings will be held virtually. Our first meeting, which will include elections, is on Thursday September 30 at 6 pm. The meeting will be held online. Please email PortPerryHS@ddsb.ca to be added to our SCC mailing list. We will also share the link closer to the date.
