Updates Re: 2021-22 School Year

Dear Parent/Guardian/Caregiver:

2021-22 School Year Calendars Now Available

Durham District School Board’s (DDSB) upcoming 2021-22 school year calendars for elementary and secondary schools have been approved by the Ministry of Education. You can view the 2021-22 school year calendars on the DDSB website: https://www.ddsb.ca/en/whats-happening/school-year-calendars.aspx#Approved--2021-2022-School-Year-Calendars. 

The 2021-22 school year will begin for students on the following dates:

• Regular Calendar Schools (Elementary and Secondary) - Thursday, September 9, 2021
• Modified Elementary Schools - Tuesday, August 10, 2021
• Modified Secondary Schools - Monday, August 30, 2021

Reminder: Confirmation of 2021-22 Learning Preference in Early-August 

We want to remind families that we will be reaching out to you in early August with more information on how you can confirm or change your child’s learning preference for the 2021-22 school year. Families will have a one-week window to select either in-person or virtual learning.
